We hope you had a great Easter break. We will finish with our theme for the month of April "Means of Transportation" and reinforce everything we have learned about land, water and air transportation.

Easter Egg Hunt!!
Hi Monitos Parents:
We want to thank you for participating in the International Party, our children did a great job and we are very proud of them. Thank you!
This week we continue to learn about the means of transportation, and Easter. We are going to practice saying how old we are - "Cuantos años tengo".
Tomorrow we are having our Egg Hunt so if you would like to sign in to help us bringing plastic Easter Eggs, the filling and decoration for our party, we will really appreciate it.
Next week our friend Mauri El Mono is going to begin visiting the homes of each one of our monitos. He comes in a backpack and with a binder so you and your child can create a page of Mauri's experience in your house.

Week of April 4th- 8th!
Dear Parents!
Spring is here! and this month our Monitos Class will be learning about the ‘Means of Transportation.
This week we will be building a Big Car, made out of boxes and recyclable material.
The new words are Carro, Camion, Tren, Avion and Barco.
We will be working on our Easter Art Projects and we will appreciate your cooperation for this activity, please bring empty juice or milk cartons before Thursday. Thank you.
We will also be practicing for our performance on April 14th at the International Party. Please confirm your participation.
Words of this month:
El tren – The train
El camion – The truck
El carro - The car
El autobus – The bus
El avion – The plane
El barco- The boat
El conejo – The bunny
El huevo – The egg
La canasta – The basket
Pascuas – Easter
Last week we began visiting the Treasure Box and since then is going great. The box is motivating our Monitos to listen and follow the routine and directions. We keep enforcing our God Monito Rules.
Any donation of treasures for our box like stickers, tattoos, toys or crayons is greatly appreciated.
Please remember this Thursday * April 7th* is our Picture Class Day!
Please make sure your children are wearing Sff! uniform that day
(redt-shirt top and blue jeans or pants bottom).
Following next schedule:
9:00 - 9:30 am Graduating Class-Caps and Gowns are here!
9:30 - 10:10 am Infants Class
10:10- 10:40 am 1 Class
10:40 - 11:10 am 2
11:10 - 11:40 am 3
Parents must be prompt; since photographers we will not re shoot to
accommodate latecomers. Students who do not attend on Thursday are invited
to come in, please follow the suggested time we mention above.
All these pictures will be included in our 2010-2011 yearbooks.
