This week we continue working the theme “My Family”- “Mi Familia” and the words we will be learning are:

Also we will be working the shape of the circle with recyclable paper and washable paint.

We will be making biscuits filled with apples and cinnamon.

Upcoming Events:

October 31^st it’s Costume Party time, we will be trick treating the classrooms, have your child wearing a costume and join us for a sweet celebration at 12:00pm. Please confirm if you are planning to attend.

Special Events this week:

Please make sure to bring your “Art Work” sent to do at home with your child. (The pumpkin)

This week Mauri the monkey will be visiting Noah’s Scott house.

Also this week you will be receiving the signup sheet for the Monitos Bookworm Club, where you will mark down the time you read to your child at home, at the end of the week, the monito who has more time will win a prize.

Thank you for your joining us to our first field trip, Hill Ridge Farm was a great place to spend time together while practicing all our new vocabulary. Congratulations to our mariquitas who did a terrific job.

Following Maury’s schedule this week he will be visiting Isabella’s house.

For our October art project, you will be receiving the materials this week; you and your monito will produce a pumpkin that will be displayed in our classroom. Please return them by October 24^th.

Please remember we will be having our first Field Trip this Thursday October 20^th, we are going to Hills Ridge Farm in the morning to pick up pumpkins and other fun activities.

October 24^th is our Picture Day, children must wear their uniforms: red top and blue pants.

October 31^st it’s Costume Party time, have your child wearing a costume and join us for a sweet celebration at 12:00pm

Please make sure to check your child’s cubby on a daily basis and have weather appropriate clothes; we will appreciate your child’s items are labeled.

Welcome to our new lead Teacher Miss Amparo, she is very excited to be with us. The monitos are loving her already.

Sadly this is my last week at the Cary School, I will miss you all, thank you for all your support, I know Miss Amparo will take good care of our monitos.
