Cooking: We will make a delicious fruit cocktail.

Announcements:

*A reminder that our Monitos are allow to bring his/her favorite toy every Friday to share in circle time.

*Remember to label your child’s towel for splash days.

MUD WEEK!!!

Don’t forget next week we will celebrate: MUD WEEK at Spanish for Fun! Expect your child to get dirty and muddy on their splash days (Monday and Thursday)

Week of June 24th - 28th !!!

Hola Monitos Parents!

We had so much fun this past week! Our Monitos enjoyed our different activities each day and splash time! Summer arrived! It’s wonderful at SFF!

Our theme for this week is: “Nos vamos de Campamento” / “We are going camping”. We have planned different activities for this week, so please make sure to read our “Activities” section to make sure your child don’t miss anything!

Special Activities for this week:

J  Monday June 24^th - We will go for a hunt looking for insects, rocks, flowers, and taking pictures.

J  Tuesday June 25^th - We will make a pretend camp fire, with sticks and pieces of paper.

J  Wednesday June 26- We will have a delicious picnic. We will pretend to slept outside, listening to the sounds of nature.  Please bring a flashlight and your child's favorite fruit that day.

J  Thursday June 27- Pajama’s day. Please bring your child to school wearing their favorite pajama.   We are going to have a Party!

J  Friday June 28- We will be camping outside in the park, we will have a tent and we will enjoy some marshmallows!  Parents, we will need your help for this activity. If you a tent at home that you can bring to school and share with us, we will really appreciate it . Please let us know during the week, so we can plan in advance. Thanks!

We are very excited to start our summer camp with a lot of fun activities every day.

Our theme of the week is "Summer is here "/"El verano llego"

Important news:

*Our splash days are Monday in the afternoon and Thursdays in the morning so don't forget to sent your child’s bathing suit, towel, appropriate shoes for water,

  And water diaper if you child needs it.

*Mondays we will have music class and we are so excited. We know our Monitos will love this class!

*We want to give a special welcome to Daphne Lane, Quincy Leeberg,  Lyla Pendleton, Benton Creekman, Benjamin Brown , who are now part of

  our Monitos class. Bienvenidos!

*Welcome to Miss Maria Mercedez who will be joining us since Monday.

*We want to say Adios! to Riley Richard, Evelyn Bartel, Darcy Demidovich, Simon Planchart, Clayton Hughston who are moving to the Sapitos class. We will miss them so much! HAVE FUN!

Week of June 10th - 14th !!!

Theme of theWeek (Tema de laSemana): “Lets get active/Hay que ponernos activos”

This is our last week of the school year. We will continue talking about sports and how we can get active, how to keep our body healthy and strong eating healthy food.

We will review colors, shapes, numbers and vocabulary learned through the school year.
We will also learn four easy lessons to always remember before riding a tricycle or a bike, and on Thursday children will get their License.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DARCY DEMIDOVICH and HOUSTON ROLAND, they will turn three on June 11^{th and} June 16^th respectively.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all our super Dads! Our special celebration for you will be held on Thursday 13^th with a delicious breakfast at 8.00 a.m. in the Lobby, after that please go to the Monitos Classroom and get the gift that your children have prepared for you.

 

PHOTO ALBUM: This week you will find our Photo Album on the Teacher’s counter. Please make a STOP and SEE what and how your child have been learning and developing his/her skills (physical, cognitive, social and emotional) through the school year. All our Monitos did great and we are so proud of them. If you have any suggestion or comment to improve our job, please feel free to let us know.

DEAR PARENT

We are almost at the end of this school year and we are so ready to enjoy our summer.
Theme of this week "Be Active” . We will talk and practice some sport.

* June 3rd: Report cards will be sent home
* June 7th and 12th: Monito’s Parents Conference
* June 14th: Last day of school! The special activity will be a Trike-a-Thon in the morning. SFF will close at 12.30 p.m.

REMINDERS:

Help us by putting sunscreen every morning to your Monito, we will re-apply it in the afternoon before going outside.
