Hola Monitos Parents:

A royal week ahead of us for "princesses and knights "

Our Monitos will be have royal dance, tea party, decoration of castle, lots of fun games and a parade, 

also the monitos are allowed to bring books and toys related to this theme.

*Don't forget this Friday our Meet and Greet event begins at  6:00pm and is intended for Parents only

*Friday 9th Sff! will be close at 12:30 in preparations for the new school year 

*On Monday August 12th school is closed due to Teacher's Work Day

*Tuesday August 13th is first day of school year 2013-2014 :)

Week of July 22nd- 26th !!!

Hello Monitos Parents.

We are very happy that our Monitos enjoyed all the activities we planned for them last week.

Our topic this week is: “The Dinousaurs” / “ Los Dinosaurios”

We will have lots of fun learning more about them, looking for fossils, etc! We are sure our Monitos will love it!

Our activities for this week are the follow:

·         

     Monday-We will make a dinosaur using sticks.

·        Tuesday-We will make a fossil detector.

·         Wednesday-We will make a fossil.

·         Thursday-The children should bring their favorite Dinosaur.

·         Friday-We will have an expedition the excavated fossil.

Note for the week:

·         Please parents don’t forget your child’s Dinosaur on Thursday.

·         Parent on Tuesday and Thursday the children will have splash day, don’t forget their towel labeled with their name. Apply sunscreen in the morning.

Week of July 15th - 19th !!!

Dear parents

Our theme of the week is "The Zoo" / “El Zoologico” and we have planned a lot of fun activities for our Monitos. Some of these activities are cooking, puppet show, parades, and watch a video about the animals of San DIego Zoo.

Words of the week:

• Mascara/mask

Special activities of the week:

Monday:Crazy hair Day!

Tuesday:We will make a zoo exhibition

Wednesday:We will make a monkey’s mask. Please bring your child with a shirt that has any zoo animal.

Thursday:We will visit all class looking the others zoo

Friday: Mask’s festival

Cooking; we will do cupcakes and decorate them

Book: De paseo por la selva/The trip for the jungle

Homework:

Talk to our Monitos about the importance of using nice words with our friends.

Our theme for this week is: “Las Olimpiadas”/ “The Olympics”

Reminders to parents:

Splash Days are on Monday and Thursday. Please apply sun screen in the morning to your child. In the afternoon we will apply the sun screen to every child.   Please help us by labeling your child’s towel.

Activities for next week:

Monday:  Wear your favorite team colors.

Tuesday: Dress like an athletic.

Wednesday: Bicycle day.

Thursday: Make the Olympic torch and medals.

Friday: The SSF Olympic games. Dress your child in yellow. We will lots of games and fun! Please, dress your child in yellow which is going to be our class color.
