Week of September 3rd- 6th !!!

Hello Monitos Parents.

We had a wonderful week at Sff!

We want to let know that Ms. Christina and I, are very proud how the children have enjoy all the actives and enthusiasm that they have shown.

Next week we will start a new theme, it will be my body. We will be teaching the children the different body parts. This week the children will learn about the Arms. We will be reviewing the colors, thank you and please.

Homework:

For our special activity next, we will need your help! Parents we need that you help your child pick up different kind of dry leaves and bring them on Monday. It’s a very important active for your children, we need 100% participation.

Notes:

Parents this week we will be sending a pattern for our first Art Project. This project is for the parents to work together with your child. You can decorate with stickers, paint, crayons and paper. Parents you are more than welcome to use your imagination! Have fun!

·         September 12^th- Grandparents Celebration

·         September 20^th- Picture Day. Bring your child wearing his/her Sff! uniform. We will be taking individual and class pictures.

Week of August 26th - 30th!!!

Hola Monitos Parents!

This is the last week talking about our school and we are very proud of our Monitos because they have done a great job with adaptation, the routine , and the basic rules.
Also we have planned activities to work their fine and gross motor, language , social and cognitive skill .

Week of August 19th - 23rd !!!

Hola Monitos Parents!

Our first week has been a huge success! We are very happy and proud of our Monitos for their great adaptation to the class and their new routine. They have enjoyed exploring the different areas and all the activities we prepared for them during this first week.

We will continue talking and learning more abouth “Sff and me”/ “Sff y yo”. We will emphasize our classroom rules and routine as well.

Dear Monitos Parents

Welcome to Monitos Class!

We would like to give you a warm welcome!

Miss Mercedes and I are very happy to start this new school year, full of energy and lots of fun learning!

Our theme of this week is "My School and Me".

During the first days we will talk about the basic rules of our classroom,

How to play in each area ,and also we will do a school tour and visit other classrooms.

Week of August 5th - 9th !!!

Hola Monitos Parents!

Our Princess and Knights week went really well, our children enjoyed the parade, the dance, the tea party, painting and drawing castles. It was really fun.

Next week our theme is "The Circus Week" and we will close our wonderful summer camp with many delightful activities.

Our activities for this week are the follow:

• Monday-Pajama Day. We will be imitating the animals that we see in the circus.

• Wednesday-We will dress as clowns and we will have plenty of games and songs.

• Thursday-We will make paper balls to pretend we are juggling

• Friday-End of summer party, we will re-create a circus where children can keep balance with a stick, dare to do trike tricks, build towers with cups, and more.

The words of the week:

• El Payaso-Clown.

• Los Animales- The Animals.

• El  Domador- The Trainer.

• La Carpa- The Tent.

Note for the week:

·  Please parents if your child has any items related to Circus, please bring them on Monday. Clown costumes, wigs and funny cloth.

·  Splash days:  Mondays and Thursdays please remember to send your child with a towel and extra clothes labeled 

·  Apply sunscreen in the morning.

Important Dates and Reminders:

• TODAY: Meet and Greet Night from 6:00- 7:30pm. Parents Only
• On Friday August 9^th - Sff! will close at 12:30pm. Don’t forget to take home everything that belongs to your child. The cubbies should be empty. Thanks!
• On Monday August 12^th- Teacher’s Work Day. Sff! will be closed.
• On Tuesday August 13^th – First Day of School Year 2013-2014
