Week of October 28th- Nov 1st!

Hola Monitos Parents:

This week we will continue talking and learning about “The Family”. The children will enjoy a fun story about pumpkins. We are very excited about our Costume Parade! We can’t wait to be Thursday!

Words of the Week:
·         Need/ Necesito.
·         Want/ Quiero.
·         Excuse me/ Permiso.
·         Costumed/ Disfraz.
·         Candies/ Dulces.
We will continue count from 1 to 10.

Special Events:

Wednesday October 30rd- Police visit: We will have a special visit, the police department is coming to talk about safety during trick or treat!

Thursday October 31st - Costume Parade: Make sure to bring your child’s costume on Thursday. It will be an event you don’t want your child to miss! We will put a sign-up sheet outside our classroom with the treats you can donate for this event. Please help us by bringing nut free items and no hard candy. Thank you!

Student of the week
Congratulations to our student of the week – Jillian Arney! We are ready to know and learn more about you.

Hola Mariquitas Parents!

We hope you had a great week. Our Mariquitas had lots of fun with our activities last week. We are very proud of them as they have been doing an excellent job.  During this week our little ones will be continue learning about: “La Familia" / "The Family "

Homework:
Please play together at home showing to your child how they can have a lot of fun sharing time, sharing toys and wait for a turn. That is very important to our children will develop and engage in positive relationships and interaction with other children and adults.

Important Reminders:
·          Please take time to come and sign our Student of the week sheet, remember how important these activities are for our kids.

Upcoming Activities:
.         Thursday October 31st - Costume Party
A special holiday for our kids is coming! Sff! will be hosting a costume party on Thursday October 31st. During this day we will celebrate creativity, imagination and our children.

All children are encouraged to bring their costume to dress up. Activity will start around 3:30pm. We will start dressing children as soon as they wake up from their nap time. Children will have their afternoon snack outside while trunk and treating!

Please help us and provide healthy snacks and treats to share with the other children. You can give them with us prior to the activity. The treats must be nut free. Please avoid hard candy or any choking hazard items. The treats the children collect will be in their cubbies until is time to go home, please feel free to decide what your child may eat. Some examples of treats are:
·         Crackers
·         Juices
·         Play dough
·         Stickers
·         Tattoos
·         Bubbles, etc.

Feel free to bring a basket so that your child can collect candy J 
We want for everybody to have a safe and fun Costume Day!
We are looking for volunteers, for this activity may help us by decorating their trunks and helping us distribute the treats to our children. You should arrive around 3:00pm. Please if you are available let us know.

Week of October 21st - 25th !!!

Dear parents:

This week we continue work with my family (mom .dad ,sister ,brother ,bebe ,and grandparents) and also we will talk about the pumpkin.
We will practice this week in count  with the young number one to five and older in one to ten .

Week of October 14th - 18th !!!

Hola Monitos Parents!

We hope you had a great week!
Our Monitos had a wonderful week learning and talking more about our feelings, and how wonderful it is to be always happy!

This week we will talk about “The Family”/ “La Familia”, and all the family members like mother, father, and siblings. The importance of loving and taking care of our family.

Week of October 7th - 11th !!!

Hello Monitos parents:

This week we will continue talking about the feelings ,also reinforce primary colors and we star with the circle and triangle shapes.
This week we will send the next project for our “Art together” (pumpkin), remember you can use colors, paper, stickers, and paint to decorate it.
