Week of December 2nd - 6th !!!

Dear Monitos Parents

This week our Monitos had lots of fun learning about our country especially the traditional holiday of Thanksgiving. They did a great job learning the song "El Pavo"- "The Turkey" congratulations we are so proud of you.

This week we will learn more about the culture and traditions of Colombia during the holidays, like food, decoration and the day of the candles, also we will work in our project doing art to decorate our door.

Week of November 25th - 29th !!!

Hola Monitos Parents.

This week we will continue talking about our Country, the symbol of our country like the flag. We will also talk about Thanksgiving, we will celebrate this important holiday and we will talk about the things we are thankful for.

Congratulation to our student of the week Zoe Burill, we look forward to know you better and share thing you enjoy.

Reminders:

• Every Tuesday we have dance class, please help us by sending your child with comfortable clothing so they can move better.

• Also, for the children that are being potty trained, please bring them in comfortable pants, so they can start to learn how to pull up thier cloth.

Upcoming Events:

• On Wednesday November 27th at 8:30am  parents are cordially invited to be part of our morning celebration, we are preparing a special morning followed by a potluck;  parents please remember bring a dish to share,
• School we be closed on November 28^th and 29^th. Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break!
• December 20­th, Our Holyday Party is at 4pm. We will be sending home a letter about this special activity.

Hola Monitos Parents!

We had lots of fun last week talking about our community servers. Our Monitos enjoyed all different activities, and talking about the police man, the doctor, the firefighter , etc.

This week we will start talking about different ways of transportation like the bus and the airplane and also we will talk about the airport, the supermarket, etc.

Our theme of the following next two week will be "My community and me".

This week we will work with the community servers with activities in math matching the same pictures, in art making fireman hat ,dramatic play we will imitate the different roles of doctor, police, fireman, constructor, in PE jump, roll and throws ball.
