Week of March 31st - April 4th !!!

Dear Monitos Parents

Last week was our last week talking about “The Animal Kingdom” and our Monitos had lots of fun learning and talking about this topic. Great job everyone!!

This upcoming week is time to talk and learn about the" Latin Folklore "and we are focusing in Ms.Mercedes and myself country: “Colombia”. We will be doing fun activities where the Monitos will be able to recognize the colors of the flag, the traditional music and flowers.

Special activities

*Maury the monkey will be visiting Landon's house. Enjoy the week with Maury!

*This Friday we will do a sensory and fun activity: We will paint with ice cubes.

*We will continue with our rehearsals for the International Party and the Monitos are doing a great job.

REMEMBER this April 11th is our International party and we are looking for one parent to volunteer from 2:30 -3pm.The parent volunteer will be with one teacher while the other is heading to the event. You can sign-up at the lobby.

Week of March 24th- 28th !!!

Hola Monitos Parents!

The Monitos have been learning a lot about the entire Animal Kingdom. This week they will learn about the different insects like bees, ants, spiders, and butterflies.

Words of the Week/ Palabras de la semana.

·         Bee/Abeja.

·         Ant/Homija.

·         Spider/Arana.

·         Butterfly/Mariposa.

Homework:

Bring from home any toy, plastic or stuffed toy insect , so your child can share it with your friends.

Reminder:

Please send you children with comfortable cloth because they are being potty trained.

Week of March 17th - 21st !!!

Dear parents,

This past two weeks our Monitos have been doing a great job learning about the wild and ocean animals .This coming week is time to learn about domestic animals.

Words of the week

Events of the week

* This Monday is St Patrick's day the kids are welcome to wear green.

*Happy Birthday Sophia De Amat who turn 3 this Thursday .Felicidades !! Also Maury is so happy to spend time with her.

* This Friday is pet day, we will like have some pets to share with the kids, let us know if some of you can bring your pets to coordinated, and the best time is around 10:30 to 11:00 or 4:30 to 5:00 this is our playground hours. If you child is allergic to any pet, please let us know.

Remainders 

* Remember sign the report card and bring it back to our next trimester.

* We still waiting for the art together, remember the kids can cut the favorites animals and stick in a collage.

*Don't forget save the day April 11 for our International party.

Homework 

Bring pictures of you pets, or let us know in the journal what kind of pet our Monitos have and the name to talk about theme in circle time.
