Week of July 28th - August 1st.

Dear Monitos Parents

This week Monitos will start a new theme, “The Knights and The Princess”. We will enjoy reading stories, singing songs and making handicrafts.

Words of the week:

Caballero/ Knights

Princesa / Princess

Corna / Crown.

Castillo / Castle.

Caballo/Horse.

Special Events:

Monday:  the children can bring anything related to Knight and Princess such as toys or books.

Tuesday: The girls will do their nails, please bring nail polish for your daughter,  and the boys will have face pain. They are going to look like dragons.

Thursday: We will have an exposition  of our crown, shields  and castles.

Friday:  we will have a parade of Knights and Princesses.

Reminders:

Please on splash days  send your children’s extra clothing  in a bag.

Note:

We will be closing our week  with a fancy ball, if you would like to share some healthy snacks with our princesses  and knights we will be accepting donations    like popsicles, cookies, fruit, cupcakes, crackers,  etc. Thank you so much in advanced for all your support!

Week of July 21st – July 25th..

Dear Monitos  parent,

The past week the kids did a great job decorating all the zoo animals and animal’s masks They had a lot of fun imitating and learning about theme .

This week is time for  DINOSAURS and we will have a fun week full of great activities for our Monitos.

Words of the week

Los dinosaurios /the dinosaurs

El Diplodocus /  the diplodocus

Activities of the week

Monday  you can bring books about dinosaurs to share with the class

Tuesday we will make dinosaurs with a box and other recycling material.

Wednesday we will make fossils with play dough

Thursday  your children can bring their favorite toy dinosaur.

*Movie time!!  Children will eat animal crackers and ice cream while watching a movie about dinosaurs.

Friday we will carry out an expedition in search of dinosaur eggs and fossils.

Home work

We are collecting toilet paper rolls.

Friendly Remainders:

Friday August 8^th.  Early realize for teacher work day at 12:30 and the school will be close Monday 11th.

This week Monitos will start a new theme, it will be the Zoo and it's animals. How they walk, eat, sleep and we will imitate their sounds.

Tigre/Tiger.

Special Events:

We want wish Eva Mathews a very Happy Birthday July 18th.

Reminders:

On splash day please help us   sending  your children cloth in a not plastic bag to prevent any accident. If possible bring your children already wearing their swimming suits.  Thank you so much in advance.

Special Dates:

Monday 14^th your child can bring his/her favorite zoo animal.

Friday 18^th  we will have our mask festival of zoo animals. The children will make their own masks. We are going to have a lot of fun!

Week of July 7th - 11th !!!

Dear Monitos parents,

Our Monitos had so much fun this short week preparing everything for the parade on Thursday. This upcoming week is time to have our "SFF Olimpic Games" and we have a lot of activities planned for our Monitos.

*Monday: Wear the colors of your favorite team

*Wednesday: We will made banners and medals

*Thursday: We will have a St. Jude Trike-A-Thon on Thursday to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This is a fun way to help sick children feel better. You will find the Sponsor Form Envelope in your child’s cubby. Make sure to send your child’s favorite bycicle or trycicle and don’t forget the HELMET!

*Friday SFF Olimpic game: Wear a green shirt .We will do a very special game day with the Ositos and Sapitos.

Home work 

·        Bring empty cans if you have any, for a special activity this Monday.
