Hello dear parents, We wish you a fun long happy and safe weekend. This week we are going to learn about the topic My body, " mi Cuerpo". We are going to leave in your child cubbie a silhouette because we are going to start the Art Together. Please take this home and work with your child, ask them what is your favorite color, food, sport, pet and your best friend. You are welcome to use pictures, magazines or drawings. Make sure bring this before Monday 8th. Also we will be working with colors. This week we are going to work with the color Red.

Friendly reminders:

If possible please wear the uniform or a red shirt every day.

We do not allowed food, snacks ore drinks in the classroom, make sure if you bring extra snacks for you child leave them in the kitchen and label it with name and date.

Friday 5^th  we are going to have a special activities in the classroom due GRANDPARENTS DAY . This activities is for our beloved ABUELITOS, so you are welcome to came at 9:30am to share with us and have a lot of fun!.

Monitos Week August 25th -29th

Hello dear parents,

This week is our last week learning about "mi escuela y yo". (my school and me.)

We had a lot fun activities and worked in different projects during the past two weeks, so this week  we are going to take the time to review, reinforce  and finishing some vocabulary and art work.

During circle time we are planning on sharing  SFF pictures and discuss why is important to wear our  uniform every day, so please help us  bringing your child wearing blue pants, shorts or skirts and red tops or shirts.

We have had a great transition during the first two weeks and now we are so proud to announce that most of our students are already on routine, but we need to keep working with some of our Monitos who are still learning some of our procedures and rules.

We want to thank to all the parents for your cooperation bringing boxes and balls to the school for our activities.

Week of August 18th. – 22nd.

Dear Monitos Parents, 

Hello dear parents I hope you had a wonderful week. We are so exited to work with our new class. This week we will  keep learning about  MI SCHOOL, "Mi escuela". Last week we were discovering our classroom, the new centers, the new toys , teachers and friends.

Next  week we will visit our friends and teachers from other classrooms and we will continue singing our wonderful Sff!  new songs during circle time. We are sure you have already headed your child singing some of these songs at home.  

Reminders:

1.      Please remember to bring your family picture, pick up your child’s  blanket every Friday and bring it back on Monday.  Our new journals are here… We will distribute them next week.

2.      Take a moment to sign up volunteering for our special activities (the traveling pet, the student of the week and room parent.)

We will make our own blocks this week so I will need you support bringing shoe boxes on Monday.

Special activity:

 The Monitos can bring every Friday they favorite toy or book to share in circle time with all the classmates. This activity help the children to start understanding the process of share, communication, cooperation teaches them to wait for their turn.

Week of August 4th – August 8th.

Dear Monitos parents,

This is the last week  of one of the most amazing summer camps ever. Now is time to start a new school year and we are ready for it!!!

Thank you to all of you for this wonderful year and for all your support  but specially  for being part of our beloved Sff! Family.

Since it is our last week of summer it’s time to have fun at the Circus witch is the new theme we are going to be working on it.

Activities of the week:  

Monday:  Story time, we will be reading stories about The Circus.

Thursday: day of Juggler’s games / splash is move to the afternoon.

Friday: Tacky Day. The kids can wear crazy outfits or unmatching clothes.
