working in recognize the basic shapes and activities where the Monitos can development there gross and fine motor skill.

·         November 17^th - 21^st parent-teacher conference. Sign-up sheet will be posted outside our classroom one week before, so we can schedule conferences in advance with those parents that would may have any question or concerns

·         November 26^th: Thanksgiving celebration more information coming soon

Reminders:

·         Check your child cubby and make sure he/she had extra clothes for the week. Also, make sure to take home any dirty clothes we put in the cubby at the end of the day.

Hello Dear Monitos Parents:

I hope you had a great weekend.

This week we are going to keep moving our bodies.We will play different fun games during class time so our Monitos can do exercises while they are playing and having fun.

We need your help for our Special Activities:

·        On Wednesday: Bring your child’s favorite ball. It can be from any kind of sports so we can share at circle time and play whit it.

·        On Thursday: Let your child wear his favorite sport t-shirt. Both of us will bring our favorite t-shirts as well!

·        On Friday: We will have our Costume parade during the morning time. Outside our classroom you will find our sign-up sheet for you to sign and help us with the children goodies bags.

Important Upcoming Dates:

·        Thursday October 30rd: Teddy Bear Portrait Sales Day! Mark your calendar, on this day during 7:30 - 9:00am and 3:00pm - 6:00pm, representatives from Teddy Bear Portrait Studio will be showing and selling your child's portraits taken last week. This will be the only opportunity for you to buy them at a really good discounted price.

·        Friday October 31st: Get your child ready for our Costume Parade!!! Send your child with his/her favorite costume. It will be a fun morning! Donations of healthy snack and treats for children are welcome. Sign-up sheet is posted outside our classroom. GRACIAS!

·        Tuesday November 4^th: Advantage Speech Screenings. We will have free screenings for children 30 months and older this morning. You will find the Permission slips on your child’ cubby if he/she qualifies by his/her age. Thank you!

We will doing a lot of  physical activities to be very strong and healthy.

Remember physical activity in toddlers and preschoolers brings physical benefits such as increased muscles strength,coordination and bone density.

This Friday please bring a ball to a special activity.

GANYARD HILL FARM Field Trip is this Monday!
Please arrive at 8:45 and look for Ms. Cristina or Ms. Giselle.
We will have your family entrances and your child's morning snack.
Please arrive on time so we can start our activities right at 9:00am

It will be a fun morning! Our music teacher will be there as well, and we will show you our Sff! new songs. We can't wait!

Hola dear parents we hope you had a wonderful weekend. This  upcoming week we will learn about our feelings. We are going to do many different  activities during the week such as  art and grafts and also we will work  gross motor skills but always the  focus will be “the feelings” since  this will be  a good opportunity to teach the kids to share with friends.

We are so very excited about our upcoming field trip to the GANYARD HILLFARM   so we will be  also talking about this special activity and teaching about our traditions during the fall, we will make a farm and  color pumpkins.

 Highlights of the week:

Our Monitos will  continue learning, talking and doing activities where they can explore their five senses.

This theme introduces toddler to methods of exploring the word around them and expanding their view of how things work. This is why children love it so much!

 Special Activity

Thursday: We will become little explorers and explore things around our school. Send a hat with your child so we can make this activity more fun!

Important Upcoming Dates:

·             October 15th: Sff! Uniform Picture Day.

·             October 16th: Fall Picture Day. Make sure to write Fall pictures under Special Request Section so we know you are interested in Fall pictures. We will be the first class to start with individuals pictures at 8:30 am.

** Teddy Bear Forms were sent home already. Make sure to return them as soon as possible.

·          October 20th: 1st Field Trip (All classrooms) Save the date and join us on this amazing first field trip to Ganyard Hill Farm 319 Sherron Rd. Durham, NC 27703.

Remember during our Circle Time is where we practice our stars words, poems, rythms, etc, and give a brief description of all the fun activities planned for that day. We consider this one of the most important parts of our day!
