Hello Monitos parents!

I hope you are doing well. This week we are going to learn about our country. We will learn about our country’s history and we have different fun activities planned this week. One of the activities is to make a suitcase and passport to travel around the country. For this activity, I will need your support by bringing pictures about your trips around the country to share during class and do our art work.

Theme of the week: The arts /Las Artes

Highlights of week:

This is our art week and our goal is to show the different ways to do art. The Monitos will be doing projects with paint like Picasso and sculptures like Botero. Art helps to expand a child's ability to interact with the word around them, and provides a new set of skills for self-expression and communication.

This week is our Art Fair please come and enjoy your child’s beautiful art pieces!

This Friday is Pajama day! Let your child wear her/his favorite pajamas so we can show them to the rest of our classmates in a parade we are preparing!

Theme of the Week “Las Plantas” “Plants”

 

Hello Dear Parents!
I hope you are doing well. This week we are still learning about “Plantas”. We will work with fruits and vegetables, feeling different textures and flavors. For these activities I will need your cooperation by bringing your child’s favorite fruit on Tuesday and their favorite veggie on Thursday. Please, if you any questions feel free to ask me or Miss Cristina.

Las flores- "The Flowers"

 

Dear Monitos Parents!
This week we will continue learning about plants with a focus on “Flowers.” We will have lots of fun activities this week!

Our goal is to help them learn and recognize the basic parts of the flowers and what they need to live and grow. Also is a very important week because we will celebrate “Valentine’s Day” and we will do some activities where the Monitos can demonstrated the friendship.

This Friday we will have a special celebration for Valentine's Day.
