Hello dear parents,

We hope you are doing well. This week we are going to be focus in our Proyecto de pascuas( Easter Project). We will do different activities during the week such as painting eggs, making hats and talking about pascua. We want to remember you that this Friday the Easter rabbit is coming and the kids will pick up the eggs. Please feel free if you want to participate.

Upcoming Events:
April 2^nd: Easter Celebration
This is a very exiting week for all of us. Our great egg hunting day! Is this Thursday April 2^nd. It will be a wonderful week for all of us to enjoy. Please help by bringing eggs to share with the class and a basket for your child beginning the day March 30, 2015.  Please bring the fillings separately and remember to avoid any nut products or candy that could pose as a choking hazard.  Baskets will be at the front desk for your convenience.

April 3^rd: Easter break - Sff! closed

April 10^th: International Party at St. Raphael Archangel Church. Sff! will closed at 3:00pm.

Theme of the week: “My culture and traditions”

Hola Monitos Parents,

This week we will learn more about Colombian culture. Children will be able to listen to their typical and most famous music, food, and plants, etc. Our goal this week is for the Monitos to be able to recognize the culture and tradition of their teacher’s countries. At the same time, we will continue working in developing their fine and gross motor with activities, such as: tearing paper, making a ball with thumbs, jumping with both feet, also we will start our practices for our International Party.

• April 2nd: Easter Celebration

Please bring the fillings separately and remember to avoid any nut products or candy that represents a choking hazard. This coming week we post the sign-up sheet on our door with some filling that you can bring for that day.

This week we are going to learn about “Mi cultura y tradiciones”. This topic is very interesting because we can share and learn more about different cultures, languages, countries etc. If you have pictures from your country or costumes please feel free to bring at school on Tuesday so we can share.

Hola Monitos Parents!

This week we will continue talking about our country with an emphasis on North Carolina. We will talk about the first flight, the state bird (the Cardinal), the colors of the flag and we will pretend to be on a trip to the Zoo. Our goal this week is to be able to help children recognize the colors of the flag, some culture, and the traditions of our State.
