Miss Cristina & Ms. Maria Gracia
Week of October 26th – October 30th
Theme of the Week: “Mi Familia / My Family”

Dear Monitos Parents,
This week we will talk about the different types of housing and some traditions in families around the world. We’ll also discuss the precautions to take when out trick or treating with our parents.
This week, during story time, we will read a book about sharing and we will have games where they can take turns. This is an age where these two things are very difficult but with the daily consistency they will be able to assimilate these new tasks.
Our goal is for our Monitos to recognize in which type of housing they live.
This week you can help us at home show with this theme by sharing the characteristics of your home with your child and reading book about sharing and taking turns.

Tuesday October 27th: Please help us by bring a picture of your child doing an activity that they really enjoy indoors or outdoors.

Theme of the Week: “Mi Familia / My Family”

Happy Friday Monitos Parents!
This week our Monitos will be working on the Topic: “Mi Familia / My Family.” This is a very important theme that we will enjoy with our children because we learn more about our families members, we spend time watching their pictures and talking about the importance of it.

If you haven’t, please bring your family picture, this is a perfect time to do so! Remember, we have a family tree in our classroom and children love to observe their families in this way daily!

We will also be having fun with different art activities that we have planned. We will make some crafts and paint them with our Monitos.

At home you can show and help them to identify pictures of different family members, including: mommy, daddy, grandma, and grandpa.
