Week of February 1^st. – February 5^th. .

Como funcionan los artefactos electricos/ How electric appliances work.

 Hello dear parents,

This month we will start a new theme and we are so happy because we will have a lot of fun activities for our Monitos. With this theme we are try to teach to our children how the object around us operate and stimulate the interest and creativity to create new things. At home you can show how operate basic things as the blender, vacuum and washing machine.

Monday we will make a delicious smoothie

Friday we will make a Robot with boxes.

 Special Activity:

The month of love and friendship is here and we want to celebrate with our kids. For this, we would like to ask for your help by bring to school some goodies to share with the class, for example: Cards, Stickers, Playdough, gold fish and gummies any other items that you consider a good option. This special activity will be celebrated in each classroom.

Upcoming dates:

• February 12^th: Our Valentine’s celebration feel free to send cards, stickers to our Monitos. Our room parent we will send the list with our Monitos name and more details for this celebration.
• Science fair 22 to 26^th of February please come and enjoy our experiments.

Remember:

·         Please make sure to keep extra clothes for you child in the cubby.

·         We need your cooperation through washing your child’s hands every morning when you get in the classroom.

Week of January 25th - January 29th.

Theme of the Week: "We are Artists"

 

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week our Monitos will become artists. We will have fun with different art activities. We are going to make our own art project. Also we are going to learn about different artists, like: Pablo Picasso, Da Vinci, Van Gogh, etc.  In addition, we are going to have a review by playing with the colors and shape too. 

Important Upcoming Dates:

January 25^th to 29^th - art fair project

·         Please make sure to keep extra clothes for you child in their cubby.

·         We need your cooperation in the classroom washing hands every morning when you get in the classroom.

·         Remember take every Friday your child blanket to be washed.

Week of January 18^th – January 22^nd

Theme of the week: “Medios de comunicacion personales y de entretenimiento/ personal media and entertainment.”

 

Hello Dear Parents,

This week we will talk and learn about some personal media like cellphones, laptop, and a table. Their function and how care. Our goal is to teach our Monitos the importance of this personal media to communicate with other, to work and how give an appropriate use.

At home also you can show this media and talk to them how you use it and why is important.

 

This Friday we will pretend to go to the theater to watch a special movie with Sapitos and Ositos.

Important announcement:

Is almost the half of the school year in is time to work with our Monitos in potty training and we need work together to reach this. Please feel free to come to us to discuss how we can work together with your child.

Theme of the Week: "I travel and I communicate though my city"

 

Dear Monitos Parents,

This week our Monitos will continue working on our theme of transportation and communication.  We will have fun with different art activities. We’ll make our own car using a box and our own telephone with glasses. We also will use newspapers, magazines, and other materials to continue creating and having fun with our Monitos!

January 18th: School Closed
