Week of April 11th-15th

Miss Cristina and Miss Maria Gracia
Week of (semana de):April 11th-15th
Theme of the week ( tema de la  semana)
Growth and function of plants/ crecimiento y funcion de las plantas

Dear Parents,
This week we will talk about a very interest topic “how plants grow”. We are planning a lot of fun activities where the  “Monitos” can explore and learn in the best way by touching, feeling, tasting and smelling plants, fruits and vegetables. We are planning to match fruit and veggies by colors, to do a germination process, and to water plants since this is one of the most important process to help plants grow.

We chose this topic since we want to create awareness of how important plants are.

At home let your child water the plants and talk about the fruit and veggies that you enjoy every day. Talk about the color, shape and where they come from.

Song of the week
We will be listening the song “Las plantas” featuring in our new SFF CD.

Friendly Reminders
1.     Make sure to keep extra clothes and underwear for your child in the cubby.
2.     Remember to wash your hands and your child's hands when entering the classroom”

Thank you for all your support.
