For the next two weeks the theme we will work on is: “Let’s get active”. And the words of the week we will review are:colors, shapes and numbers that we learned during this school year.
As new words we will
learn: Sports: basketball, soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, swim, ball,
basket, racket, arch, and stadium.
Special events this week:
Congratulations to our
Ositos Class, they had their graduation party last Saturday. WAY TO GO!!!!
Tomorrow Tuesday is WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY, we posted an
article on our Parents Board at the entrance of the school, please take your
time to read it. Thank you.
Reminders:
Please don’t forget
to take your child’s blanket every Friday and bring it back on Monday.
Homework this week :
This week we will
reinforce at home Math “Where is a big shelf for a big book?”: Think
aloud about simple problems your child can help solve: “This book is a problem.
It’s too big for this shelf. Can you help me find a shelf that’s big enough to
hold it?” Be supportive of your child’s choice, even if it’s too small. Just
encourage him or her to try another shelf a little bigger.
Other upcoming
events:
Last Friday Braydon
Plummer brought cupcakes (that he made with Mom) to celebrate the freedom of
our five beautiful butterflies. We let them fly outside at the playground and
our Little Monkeys were so excited, some of them helped the butterflies come
out from the cage. “Thank you” again to
Mrs. Jeannine Plummer for providing this wonderful experience to our
children (and the Teachers).
Please remember our
last day of school is Friday, June 15th. Sff! will provide care until
12:30pm. Teachers will attend a staff meeting after 1:30pm in preparations to the Summer
Camp session.
Thank you for your
support.
Have a great week!!!!
Ms. Amparo.
