Week of July 2-6th!

Dear Monitos Parents:

Our theme of the Week is “Celebrating Independence Day”

Words of the week are:

Numbers: one to seven
Colors: red, blue, white
Shapes: triangle, circle

Feelings: happy, sad, angry, tired, hungry, thirsty
Special words: The meaning of independence, the States, the President, the Flag, the Eagle, White House, Stars, basket, tablecloth, fruits, field, ants.

Our activities this week are:
SPLASH DAY: Monday and Thursday.
Monday: we will prepare a Special Hat for Independence Day
Tuesday: We will sing the Star Spangled Banner and have a Parade
Wednesday: The school is closed.
Thursday: We will have a picnic at the playground
Friday: We will play a lot of games at the park celebrating Independence Day.

Reminders:
Please bring extra clothes according to the weather and don’t forget a towel for Splash Days.

Homework this week:
We will talk about USA and the symbols of the country .
