Dear Monitos Parents,

This is the last week talking about “The Animal kingdom”. During this week we will talk about the insects (butterfly ,lady bug, and bee),and a special animal friend "The bunny".

Monitos class want to say thank you to Jeanine and Patrick Plummer for you caterpillars donation and the visit of Secret (their dog), also to Marisa's parent for bringing her fish and Libby Perry to bring Meadow's dog.

*Don't forget this Wednesday to take home your child’s jackets and blanket to wash and check your child’s cubby to make sure he/she has extra clothes.

Upcoming events and Reminders:

·         Thursday March 21^st, is Pet’s Day. All our children’s pets are welcome. We will have a signup sheet at the door. Please make sure to fill it out. The perfect time to bring your child’s pet is at 4.30 p.m. (recess). If your child is allergic to any pet, please let us know.

 

·         March 27th -Easter Celebration. We are planning a great egg hunting day, please help by bringing filled eggs to share with the class. Remember to avoid any nut products or candy that represents a choking hazard.

 

·         March 28-29th - Easter Break. Sff! Will be closed.

·         A friendly remainder to our wonderful parents: don’t forget to bring back your art project (All Art Together) and the Reports Card.

Hola Monitos parents!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Our theme of the month is the "Animal Kingdom" and this week we will be learning about the wild animals. The children will identify the characteristics of some of these animals, food and habitat. Also they will make different arts.

Monitos class want to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our friend Evelyn Bartel . She turned 3 on March 10th. Feliz Cumpleaños!

*March 18th - St, Patrick's day. The children will come wearing green clothing or    accessories. We will make arts and different games related with the color green.

*March 19^th – Picture Day. Please have your child wearing Sff! Uniform.

*March 21st pet day. We are inviting our children's pets to spend a day with us.

All Art Together: Our project for this month will be a clover. We will send this week the pattern to be decorated with your child at home. We would like to say thank you to all our wonderful parents who make an effort and work creatively and enthusiastically in these projects. Every month our wall looks beautiful with the art jobs.
