Week of March 11th- 15th !!!

Hola Monitos parents!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Our theme of the month is the "Animal Kingdom" and this week we will be learning about the wild animals. The children will identify the characteristics of some of these animals, food and habitat. Also they will make different arts.

Words of the week:
Animals: leon/lion

              oso/bear
                    elefante/elephant
              cocodrilo/crocodile
                    jirafa/giraffe

Habitat: La selva/the jungle
                  El Polo Norte/the North Pole
             El lago/the lake

Adjectives: Fuerte/strong

*Mauri the Monkey is visiting Jillian's house. Have fun!
* On Thursday March 14^th, for our special activity, we will make wild animals with shoes boxes. Please send one with your child that day.

Congratulation:
Monitos class want to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our friend Evelyn Bartel . She turned 3 on March 10th. Feliz Cumpleaños!

Reminders:
*March 18th - St, Patrick's day. The children will come wearing green clothing or    accessories. We will make arts and different games related with the color green.

*March 19^th – Picture Day. Please have your child wearing Sff! Uniform.

*March 21st pet day. We are inviting our children's pets to spend a day with us.

*March 22th PJ’s day

*March 27th Easter celebration.We are planning a great egg hunting day, please help by bringing filled eggs to share with the class. Remember to avoid any nut products or candy that represents a choking hazard.

*March 28-29th - Easter Break, the school is closed.
