Week of April 7th. - 11th.

Monitos Parents:

Last week we learned about Latin Folklore. Monitos practiced their dance for the upcoming International Party, We had lots of fun. 

This week we will be talking about the different foods, tradition and music of Colombia.

Words of the week:

·         Cuando/ When.

·         Por Que/ Why.

·         Cumbia/ Cumbia ( Traditional Dance of Colombia)

·         Desfile/ Parade.

·         Flores/ Flowers.

Activities:

1-We will be making baskets to put flowers, which is a tradition in Colombia.

2-We will continue to rehearsals our dance, for our big day, Friday the 11^th The International Party.

International Party:

•          Remember this Friday is our international party.  We hope you have your child’s special outfit ready for this Friday.

•          We will continue having our rehearsals next week. Let me know if you have any questions.

Easter Celebration:

Remember we will have egg hunting this coming April 16th.  Send your child with a  basket and plenty of eggs.  Please send the fillings separately. Remember to avoid allergens such as nuts and candy that could present a choking hazard.
