Theme of the Week (Tema de la Semana): El continente Asiatico
Hello Monitos Parents,
I hope everyone had a great Easter Break! This week we are going to learn more about Asia continent! We are asking to all of our families, if you have family, or are from, Asia, please send pictures to share with the rest of the class. We are excited to learn more about your culture and traditions!
Song of the week:
CANCION LAVARSE LAS MANOS
Si tus manitas sucias están
Con jaboncito tú las lavarás
Uno, dos, tres, espuma tu harás
Cuatro, cinco, seis, con agua jugarás
Siete, ocho, nueve, con toalla secaras
Cuando cuentes diez ya limpias están (x2)
Contando hasta el veinte
Espuma tu harás
Y todos los gérmenes
Muy lejos se irán.
Star Words of the Week
· Asia
· Oso panda- Panda Bear
· Tigre- Tiger
Important Upcoming Dates:
· May 8th - Mother's Day Celebration
· May 11th -15th: Science Fair Week
· May 25th - Memorial Day - School Closed
Friendly Reminders:
Please make sure keep extra clothes for your child in the cubby. The weather is getting warmer so feel free to bring sunscreen (ask Miss Cristina or Miss Giselle and do not leave the sunscreen in your child’s cubby.)
CLOSED-TOE SHOE POLICY
Now that the weather is getting warmer, please make sure you know about our closed-toe shoe policy:
Shoes should be comfortable and provide adequate protection for the feet during outdoor play. Flip-flops and open-toed sandals are prohibited as they present a safety hazard. We request that every child come to school with closed-toe shoes.
We hope everyone had a great time at our International Party!
Congratulations Monitos for your fantastic job!
Ms. Giselle & Ms. Cristina
