Week of June 1st-5th

Monitos Class
Ms. Cristina & Ms. Giselle
Theme of the week: “ The Universe and Me/ El Universo y yo ”
Week of June 1st - June 5th

This week we will begin a new and very interesting topic: “The Universe”. Our children love it because they can create and learn so much about the sun, the stars and the moon. Our goal is to spark curiosity in our Monitos and teach them how to recognize the following: when the sun comes out, if the stars are shining, the differences between the sun, the moon, day, night, and other fun facts!

At home, Mom and Dad can sing the song “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star” read with them about this theme and show them real pictures about the sun, stars, and moon.

SONG /CANCION
Planetas
Buenos días ya salió el sol
Miro hacia el cielo, las nubes de algodón
Buenas noches, la luna salió
Muchas estrellitas luceros de amor.
Estrellas, planetas
Luna y sol
Cuida nuestra tierra y llénala de amor.

Poesía/ Poem
El sol tiene frio
No quiere salir
Oculto entre las nubes
Se ha puesto a dormer
Le llama la luna
Le llama la flor
El sol esta sordo
Es un dormilón.

Adivinanza/ Riddle
Doy calorcito
Soy muy Redondo
Salgo prontito
Y tarde me escondo.
