Week of November 09^th – November 13^th

Theme of the week: “Mi comunidad y yo /My community and I”

Dear Monitos Families!

This week we will talk about our community. As always with activities where they can learn and have fuyn!:

·         Monday we will dress up like fireman or doctor

·         Tuesday we will pretend to be in a restaurant.

·         Wednesday we will be visiting the book fair as a librarian

·         Thursday we will enjoy a small show presentation from the teacher and please send a shoe box to and special activity that day.

·         Friday we will make our own chef hats.

Also we are planning activities where the Monitos can development they gross and fine motor, language and cognitive skills.

Student of the Week

CONGRATULATION to Maximus Winter! He is our Student of the week!!

We are ready to know more about you and your family!

Remember:

·         Please make sure to keep extra clothes for you child in the cubby appropriate for the weather

·         Put your child name in the Spanish for Fun jackets. We are not responsible for jackets or other items that are not labeled with your child’s name. To avoid this, help us by labeling all your child’s belongings.

·         Toys are allow in class Only on Friday to share with the other peer.

Upcoming Activities:

·         November 9^th: Report card will be sent.

·         November 20^th: Parents Night Out. From 6 – 9 pm. More information to come.

·         November 19^th: Parent-Teacher conferences to talk about your child’s report cards, their achievements, and needs, if any.  The signup sheet will be posted outside of the class.  Please take a moment to sign-up and choose your best time.

·         November 25^th: Thanksgiving Celebration. We will be sharing a special morning snack in our classroom. Parents are encouraged to bring a dish to share during our morning snack at 10:00 am. Signup sheet will be posted on Monday, the 16^th.

·         November 26^th – 27^th: School closed.

·         December 16^th : Holiday Party

Holiday Party

We can hardly believe it’s time for us to start planning and organizing for our Holiday Party. Our Monitos will dance the song “Muñeco de Nieve”. We are very excited for this event, since it’s one of the biggest events we have during our school year. We count with your support! For that reason, you will receive a special letter from us with detail information of this event and what your child’s needs to wear for his/her presentation. We have time to prepare a wonderful show!
