πŸ”  What are we learning?

Dear Monitos Parents,
This week the children will be reviewing the topic “Colors” through play. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us strengthen math, motor and cognitive-sensory skills.  Some of these activities are as follows:
Identify the color of the fruits.
Use senses, children will touch, smell and observe.

Thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

Best Regards,
Miss Cristina and Miss MarΓa

πŸ“„ Materials for Special Projects
Please bring one fruit for Thursday, June 9th. We are going to prepare a fruit salad for the children.
Please help us to get recycle material such as small boxes, soda cans, newspaper, paper towel roll and plastic bottles. We are going to use these material for our Father’s Day Celebration.
Children should wear a t-shirt in any of the following colors: red, green, yellow or blue.

πŸ”† Friendly Reminders
Check your child’s cubby and make sure to bring extra set of clothing that is appropriate to weather.
Bringing toys to classroom is not allowed. Make sure toys are left at home. This is to prepare children for the upcoming school year.
Sunscreen and mosquito repellant are important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn/mosquito bites. Yet applying sunscreen and mosquito repellent to your child requires planning. If sunscreen and mosquito repellent must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen and mosquito repellant should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and mosquito repellant, label the bottles with your child's name and place them in a ziploc bag. We will also appreciate if sunscreen is applied to the child in the morning before dropping him/her at the preschool.
πŸ“† Holidays & Upcoming Events
Report cards will be sent home as of Friday, June 3rd.
